Wine Review: I enjoyed this Excellent dark red and cloudy Mourvedre on my birthday with friends. It opens with an attractive raspberry bouquet with hints of red currant. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, balanced, juicy and rich. The flavor profile is a delicious mild red raspberry with hints of vanilla oak, cranberry and red plum. The finish is dry and its fine tannins drift away nicely. We all agreed that we would pair this yummy Mourvedre with a filet mignon in the near term. Available to wine club members only, I suggest you join - Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Lush boysenberry fruit juxtaposed with cranberry turning to Black cherry in a dark and tragic dance lost in its adolescence, mouth-watering red fruit continues... draped in an intriguing tannic structure laced with hints of bay leaf that linger to a leathery finish wrapped in velvet oak and dark chocolate.... truly a sensation.
