Wine Review: This dark ruby colored Grenache from Cypher is very good and was well received by our mini-group. It opens with a pleasant strawberry bouquet with hints of faint blueberry and oak. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, juicy and lush. The flavor profile is a tasty mild red raspberry and strawberry blend with notes of mild oak. I also detected a hint red plum and gentle minerality. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins linger and last for a little while. This Grenache is food friendly and would pair well Tyler Florence's pulled pork sandwich with creamy cole slaw. Enjoy - Ken
