Wine Review: This light red colored Pinot opens with an old world blackberry, wet twig and black pepper like bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied and slightly acidic. The flavor profile is a smoky oak infused red currant with notes of red beet and just a hint of strawberry. The finish is rather dry and its moderate tannins show nice length. I would pair this Pinot with venison stew. Enjoy - Ken
