Wine Review: This opaque and very dark purple colored Carmenere opens with blackberry jam and black currant bouquet. On the palate, this wine is an absolute fruit bomb. It is also medium bodied and juicy. The flavor profile is a ripe boysenberry and black plum blend. I also detected notes of mild old oak and red beet. The finish is dry and its mild tannins are subtle. This Carmenere is very Zin like and would pair with foods like barbecue ribs. Enjoy at a tailgate party this fall. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: Color: Dark, deep red. Bouquet: Intense aromas of ripe black fruit coupled with spicy black pepper. Taste: Voluptuous with flavors of blackberry, dark chocolate and hints of vanilla. Marques de Casa Concha marries well with roasted meats, aged cheeses, and robust pastas.
