Wine Review: This almost clear colored Vouvray was a hit with the tasting panel. It opens with a faint lemon and apple bouquet with a hint of anise. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied and rather acidic. Yet it is also round and very juicy. The flavor profile is mellow apple with hints of pear and slate minerality. The finish is dry and it lingers nicely showing good length. The panel suggested pairing this wine with a dark cherry glazed pork roast or turkey. Enjoy - KWGTP

Winemaker Notes: Aromas of ripe peach, apricot and acacia lead to a medium sweet palate that is rich and concentrated, achieving a brilliant balance between sweetness and acidity. Serve chilled and enjoy with seafood and grilled meat.
