Wine Review: This yellow colored Chardonnay from Washington State opens with a lemon and apple bouquet with a hint of oak. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, slightly acidic, gentle and savory. The flavor profile is a tasty pear with notes of nicely integrated mild vanilla oak and lemon. I also detected hints of green apple and ginger. The finish is dry and its flavors linger and last for a while. This Chard is food friendly and would pair well with pasta carbonara. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: The Canoe Ridge Estate Chardonnay is refined and elegant and offers apple and citrus aromas with a clean, refreshing finish. We age the wine in lighter French oak barrels to maintain the fresh, elegant style of this Chardonnay. Pair with Salmon, crab cakes, and pork.
