Wine Review: This pitch black colored Chateauneuf du Pape from Chateau Sixtine opens with a faint blueberry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, very nicely balanced and smooth. The flavor profile is a tasty blueberry with notes of well integrated oak with hints of black cherry and earth. The finish is dry and its building tannins linger for quite a while. Decant this wine for an hour and serve it with beef wellington. Enjoy - Ken
