Wine Review: This dark ruby colored Chateauneuf du Pape opens with a fragrant mild black raspberry and black currant bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and mildly fruit forward. The flavor profile is a pleasant gentle plum with nicely integrated old oak. I also detected hints of black pepper and black licorice. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins are friendly and approachable. I would pair this friendly CDP with pork tenderloin. Enjoy - Ken
