Wine Review: This opaque and onyx colored Malbec opens with a mild red currant bouquet with a hint of plum. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, nicely balanced, smooth and slightly fruit forward. The flavor profile is boysenberry jam with notes of black raspberry. I also detected hints of mild minerality, gentle oak and a touch of blueberry. The finish is dry and its mild control tannins make it food friendly. This Malbec will pair well with a Kobe cheddar cheese burger with sauteed mushrooms. Enjoy - Ken
