Wine Review: This slightly opaque and dark garnet colored wine from Spain opens with a fragrant and inviting boysenberry bouquet with a hint of black cherry cola. On the palate, this wine is a good as it smells. It is medium bodied, balanced, fruit forward, and smooth. The flavor profile is a tasty black plum with nicely integrated hints of boysenberry, gentle oak and a touch of red currant. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins are a bit sticky, but manageable. This wine is a very nice drinking wine. It would also pair well a New York Strip steak. Enjoy - Ken
