Wine Review: This faint straw colored Sauvignon Blanc from Cakebread is very good. It opens with lemon and grapefruit bouquet with hints of peach pit. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, round, slightly acidic and viscous. The flavor profile is a tasty yellow grapefruit with notes of nicely integrated lemon verbena, green apple with a hint of minerality. The finish is dry and its flavors linger and last for a while. This Sauvignon Blanc would be perfect with grilled swordfish. Enjoy - Ken
