Wine Review: This very dark ruby colored Syrah from Burgess is impressive. It opens with a very inviting blueberry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and very smooth. The flavor profile is a tasty blueberry with hints of mild boysenberry and black cherry. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins are sticky and linger for quite a while. This Syrah is very good and would pair well with a ribeye steak. Enjoy - Ken
