Wine Review: This midnight purple colored Shiraz opens with a fragrant boysenberry bouquet with hints of Original Slim Jim. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, slightly acidic and savory. The flavor profile is a spicy blackberry and black plum blend with notes of smoked beef and a streak of minerality. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins and fruit flavor are nicely prolonged. This Shiraz is hearty and would pair well with slow roasted beef brisket. Enjoy - Ken
