Wine Review: This is a big Cabernet Sauvignon from Argentina. It is an opaque purple colored wine. It opens with plum and blueberry bouquet with earthy vegetal notes. It is full bodied with big tannins and a bit of heat. It displays juicy flavors of dark plum, strawberry, green pepper, black pepper and oak lead to a long finish with sticky tannins and dark cherry notes. Enjoy this Cab with a nice grilled ribeye. - Mark
Winemaker Notes: Antigal UNO Cabernet Sauvignon 2012 attracts the eye with its beautiful color: a deep ruby with flashes of black. The wine’s cherry-dominant red fruit flavors are underscored with notes of white pepper, tobacco, and cocoa. Tannins are robust yet smoothly rounded, and the finish long. This wine will age well but can be enjoyed now with roasted or grilled meats.
