Wine Review: This dark ruby colored Syrah from Andrew Murray opens with a gentle red raspberry bouquet with hints of musty leather. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied and nicely balanced between its acidity and fruit. The flavor profile is a black cherry and old oak blend with hints of strawberry and black pepper. The finish is dry and its fruit flavors and well managed tannins are nicely prolonged. This Syrah would pair well with veal medallions. Enjoy – Ken

Winemaker Notes: The Syrah Tous les Jours has become synonymous with Great Value. We feel the wine makes an ideal "House Wine" the wine you open just for the heck of it, or just to pour a single glass, the rest to be enjoyed later. And at this price, why not? However, we do not skimp on the winemaking for this wine. The 2012 vintage is remarkably dark and full-bodied, and yet it has such gentle tannins. It is truly a pleasure to drink, especially at the price. Lots of fruit and spices here...no need to wax poetic about this one as it tastes just plain yummy.
