Wine Review: This wild strawberry colored Rose from Napa Valley opens with a pretty red cherry and watermelon bouquet. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, slight acidic and juicy. The flavor profile is a rich strawberry with notes of vanilla bean and red cherry. I also detected a bit of red plum and a touch of minerality. The finish is dry and its flavors linger and last for quite a while. This impressive Rose will be liked by all that try it. The winery is just about ready to release it. So call the winery and get in line, as it will not last long. Once secured, share it with friends. Enjoy – Ken

Part 2 - The holiday season is a time for decadent desserts and dessert wine. Mirror flavors – pair pumpkin pie with late harvest Gewurztraminer.
