Wine Review: This Torrontes from Alamos is a great buy at $13. It opens with a buttery, creamy nose with hints of lemon, apple, pineapple and banana. On the palate, this wine displays nice crisp acidity that is offset with a hint of sweetness. Its prominent flavors are a citrusy orange. We also detected notes of peach and pear that are followed with a nice hint of minerality. It closes with a nice long finish. We would pair this enjoyable Torrontes with grilled swordfish smothered with mango salsa. Enjoy – Karen & Stuart

Winemaker Notes: A delightful expression of the high elevation Salta region, our Alamos Torrontés has bright floral aromas of orange and jasmine blossom. On the palate, this wine offers citrus and peach flavors that lead to a crisp finish.
