Wine Review: This bright red colored Sangiovese opens with a fragrant strawberry bouquet with a hint of oak. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, and easy going. The flavor profile is a blend of strawberry and mild red cherry with nicely integrated vanilla oak and minerality. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins linger and last for quite some time. This is a bit sturdier than most Chianti Classico's. I would pair this wine with red wine braised beef short ribs. Enjoy – Ken

Winemaker Notes: Inviting, gentle aromas of spicy plum and dried rose petals mingle with enticing vanillin oak and earth notes. A rich, smooth entry flows into bright acidity that frames the wine. Ripe plum, cherry, pomegranate, and rhubarb fuse with plush mocha, vanilla, and toasty oak. The combination of flavors makes this wine ideal for pairing with almost any meal or occasion. Enjoy this versatile, easy drinking Sangiovese with both everyday fare and special meals. It pairs well with salmon, spaghetti Bolognese, wild mushroom lasagna, and sausage pizza.
