Wine Review: This slightly opaque and dark ruby colored Zinfandel opens with a red currant and pomegranate like bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, and smooth. The flavor profile is a mild blueberry and gentle vanilla cream blend with a hint of plum. The finish is dry and its medium tannins are gentle and food friendly. This wine would pair well with barbecue chicken. Enjoy – Ken

Winemaker Notes: Tempting aromas of juicy berry pie, spicy pepper, and vanillin oak lead to this wine's smooth, plush entry. Lavish flavors—deep blackberry, ripe plum, and rich dark chocolate with threads of raspberry, coffee, and black pepper woven in—satisfy with the first sip through the long finish.
