Wine Review: I was impressed with this greenish yellow colored Gruner Veltliner from the Valle Isarco in Italy. Its rich bouquet of green herbs, honey and floral notes were inviting. This full bodied, well made wine offered concentrated flavors of tangy lemon, pear, white pepper and subtle herbs. The long clean finish incorporated pleasant stone minerality. This Gruner would pair well with a light summer meal of striped sea bass with orange saffron butter. - Joe

Winemaker Notes: Vivid green herbs and pepper on the nose with lots of intensity; concentrated, ripe, full and delicately aromatic on the palate with a subtle herbaceous lift; long with a hint of spice on the finish.
