Wine Review: This midnight blue colored Cabernet Sauvignon from Mount Veeder opens with a black currant and black licorice bouquet with hints of oak. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, slightly acidic, juicy and fruit forward. The flavor profile is a blackberry and mineral blend with notes of oak and black licorice. The finish is very dry and its bold tannins need some time settle down. The panel suggested pairing this big boy with juicy Angus burger. Enjoy – KWGTP

Winemaker Notes: Our 2012 Mt. Brave Cabernet Sauvignon opens with notes of blueberry, rose petals and violets, which are balanced by a cleansing minerality and silky tannins.
