Wine Review: This affordable Pinot Blanc from Alsace is a nice introduction to this grape. It is pale yellow in color and opens with a light honey and cantaloupe like bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied and a little viscous with slightly tart lime flavors. There is also a little integrated honey flavors mixed in as well. The finish is dry and lingers nicely. I felt this wine would work nicely with grilled trout. Enjoy – Ken
