Wine Review: This very dark opaque purple colored wine opens with an attractive blueberry and cherry like bouquet. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, balanced, and richly concentrated. The flavor profile is a dusty blueberry and plum. The finish is dry and its tannins are nicely prolonged. This wine would pair well with a gourmet Angus burger with sautéed mushrooms and cheddar or jambalaya.

Winemaker Notes: Dark, deep red. Displays intense aromas of ripe black fruit coupled with spicy black pepper. Voluptuous with flavors of blackberry, dark chocolate, and hints of vanilla.
