Wine Review: This very dark ruby colored Pinot opens with an attractive spicy black cherry bouquet with notes of cranberry. On the palate, this wine is light to medium bodied and balanced with juicy black raspberry flavors. There were also ripe black cherry, oak, and black pepper flavors noted as well. The finish is quite dry and its moderate tannins stick around for quite some time. This impressive pinot would be a fine complement to prime rib. Enjoy – Ken

Winemaker Notes: The 2007 Siduri Sta. Rita Hills shows wonderful notes of rose petal, lilac, blackberry, and raspberry on the nose. The mouth is full, rich, and seamless, exhibiting a wonderful velvet-like texture and concentrated fruit flavors joined by vanilla and hints of dried herbs. The finish is persistent, dancing on a balance beam of fine tannins and acidity.
