Wine Review: I find the Lirac region of the Rhone Valley produces some very nice value options. This wine shows off the quality that can be achieved. This dark ruby colored wine opens with a pleasant and aromatic ripe black cherry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, and smooth with juicy black raspberry flavors. There are also note of minerality throughout. The finish is dry and its tannins linger for quite some time. We decided this wine would pair perfectly with Memphis styled barbecue ribs. Enjoy – Ken
