Wine Review: This 10 year old tawny port was well received by the small group of tasters that I had try this wine. It opens with a slightly hot, nutty, and prune like bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied and nicely balanced for a port. The flavor profile was pretty complex and compelling. It displayed sweet plum flavors with notes of raisins, candied nuts, and caramel. The finish is pleasant, but brief. It does hide its 20% alcohol quite nicely. We felt this would be a perfect dessert wine with pecan pie. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: Rich tawny colour, with an excellent nose of nuts and hints of mature fruit. On the palate light and delicate, beautifully rounded, with hints of dried fruits, and a long elegant finish.
