Wine Review: This dark ruby colored wine is one of the best red wines coming out of South Africa. This wine opens with a very inviting spicy cherry vanilla bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, extremely well balanced, and very smooth. The flavor profile is a delicious black cherry with lightly infused toasty oak. You could drink glass after glass of this wine. The finish is dry and its tannins are well managed. If this wine had a little more structure, I would have placed it in the elite level. Regardless, it is perfect right now to have with a filet mignon at your favorite steakhouse. Enjoy - Ken
