Wine Review: This very dark ruby colored wine was well received by the group I showed it to recently. With that in mind, it should be noted that its style is geared towards Old World wine fans. It opens with a pleasant black cherry and oak like bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, nicely balanced, with slightly sour black cherry flavors and oak. There are also some asparagus notes on the back palate as well. The finish is dry and slightly prolonged. This wine would pair well with a pepper encrusted steak. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: A full-bodied wine with refreshing acidity and well balanced tannins displaying a voluptuous ruby-red color and aromas of violets and red berry and cherry fruit.
