Wine Review: We recently enjoyed this wine with colleagues at Longfellows Wayside Inn in Sudbury, Ma. As readers know, we were big fans of the 2004 Cab and have recommended this wine since 2002. This vintage opens with a very inviting blackberry bouquet. On the palate, this medium bodied Cab was very approachable and smooth. It had wonderful black cherry flavors that had our guests yearning for more. As a result, we ordered a second bottle in lieu of ordering something else. That is always a great reflection of the quality of the wine. It went perfectly with my NY Strip steak. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: Enticing aromas of vanilla bean, blackberry and crème de cassis introduce this bold, yet harmonious wine. A rich and well-focused palate is endowed with layered flavors of wild black cherry, plum and espresso. An elegant and generous finish is accented by delicate hints of cinnamon, nutmeg and spice box.
