Wine Review: If you are looking for a reasonably priced, food friendly Italian wine this might be a Very Good option for you. This ruby colored wine opens with an attractive spicy blueberry bouquet with a touch of light chocolate. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, juicy, and soft with no hard edges. It is new world styled with fruit forward black plum and blueberry flavors. There are notes of cranberry and light oak as well. The finish is nicely dry and subtle. We would pair this wine with meatloaf or a ragu based meal. Enjoy - Ken
