Wine Review: Are you looking for a reasonably priced Bordeaux? Step back to the 2004 vintage and try this one. This dark purple wine opens with a light black cherry bouquet with a touch of spice and oak. On the palate, this wine is smooth, elegant, and soft with tasty cherry like flavors. The finish is quite dry with well managed tannins that linger for a little while. This Bordeaux definitely has a modern style to it. I would pair nicely with prime rib. Enjoy – Ken

Winemaker Notes: A beautiful, deep purple color. A clean nose with notes of fruits (blackberry, blackcurrant) toast, tobacco, flowers (violets) and spices. A full attack, a tight-knit, velvety texture on the palate, offering also a great suppleness. The finish is long, persistent and gives out lingering notes of toast and fruits.
