Wine Review: This is old school Chardonnay. This light yellow Chard opens with light oak notes and a touch of vanilla and butter. On the palate, this medium bodied wine is balanced, savory, slightly creamy, and displays banana flavors with a touch of oak and caramel. The finish is dry and slightly prolonged. I would enjoy this wine with chicken in and Alfredo sauce. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: Barrel Fermented Chardonnay - Finger Lakes, Rich melon and tropical fruit mingle with delicate oak in the 2006 Barrel Fermented Chardonnay from Glenora. The creamy, full body and long lingering finish are the result of the painstaking process of barrel fermentation. Our Barrel Fermented Chardonnay is best when served with poultry, veal, fish or pasta with primavera or alfredo sauces.
