Wine Review: This Finger Lakes Pinot Noir that we discovered on our tasting panel at the Golden Nose Awards was the most European like in style. This bright garnet colored wine opens with a black cherry like bouquet with notes of ash. On the palate, this wine is quite dry and displays sour cherry like flavors with slight oak and tobacco like influences. The finish is quite dry and lingers. This is a steak wine. Try it with a juicy NY Strip steak off the grill. Enjoy – Ken

Winemaker Notes: Barrel Fermented in French Oak. The Miles Pinot style is characterized by sweet floral and raspberry aromas, with a silky mouthfeel, flavors of cherry & vanilla and excellent aging potential. Pairings-venison, wild turkey and other game meats, and semi-sweet chocolate.
