Wine Review: This fun offering from South Africa will be hard to find but if you do it will be a Good summer alternative. This orangish pink colored wine opens with a fresh strawberry and floral like bouquet. On the palate, this medium bodied wine is round, easy to drink, has nice acidity, and tastes slightly tart with green apple flavors. The wine finishes dry and subtle. Enjoy – KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: A sumptuous dry rose, with strawberries and watermelon in the nose and on the palate. A viscous rose with that is technically dry, yet gives the sensation of off-dry from the sweet fruit. Nice core of spice and acidity to balance the fruit and an herbal finish. Recommended pairing with a dried cherry-gorgonzola salad, wasabi salmon, sushi and other fish/seafood dishes. Also a delight with BBQs.
