Wine Review: This very dark ruby wine opens with a mild raspberry bouquet with hints of medicinal cherries. On the palate, this medium bodied wine is very well balanced, with dry dusty black cherry flavors with noticeable hints of pepper. The finish is dry and lingers slightly. This wine would pair very nicely with pork tenderloin and shepherds pie. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: A soft and finely textured wine that may be enjoyed with food. Blueberry. dry cherries, and subtle spices are the major hallmarks of Frankland River Shiraz. Fruit characteristics will develop over the next 6 to 12 months. The tannins are gentle with persistence supporting the acidity and oak.
