Wine Review: The wine is light straw yellow in color with a distinctive green hue showing as well. The aromatic nose displays notes of peach, pear, lime, mineral and faint petrol. On the palate, bright acidity greets you with flavors of petrol and lime leading the way. As it unfolds, the citrusy acidity is tempered and well-balanced by juicy, rich fruit flavors of green apple, peach and nectarine. Medium to full bodied, the wine continues with a persistent, lingering finish of mouthwatering lime and candied lemon. A dynamic, flavorful wine, it is versatile enough to pair well with sea scallops, shrimp, and other lighter seafood fare. This is my go-to wine for Asian inspired cuisine- including curry sauces or something slightly spicy. A great alternative to the Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc standard, in fact, this wine might just prove that the next Marlborough superstar may actually be Riesling! - Kara

Winemaker Notes: Exhibits a pale lemon color; the wine boasts a pure floral bouquet of citrus blossom, green apple and dried apricot. The texture is soft and flowing with granny smith apple and mandarin flavors underpinned by candied peel notes and a firm, mineral quality. Elegant and poised, this is a wine with a charming personality.
