Wine Review: If you are looking for a good light white to go with a seafood meal, you will enjoy this Gavi from the Piedmont region of Italy. This almost clear wine opens with a light refreshing light lemon like bouquet. On the palate, this light bodied wine is round, has slightly noticeable acidity, and has some light lemon like flavors with a hint of minerality. The finish is dry, refreshing, but brief. This is an ideal wine for scallops or light fish. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: This elegant, fine white wine is made from Cortese grapes grown in the specific area of the village of Gavi. It stands out for its straw-yellow colour with greenish highlights, and for its typical white flower bouquet. Well bodied, fresh and dry, it has an inviting, harmonious taste featuring bitter almonds.
