Wine Review: This yellow colored wine opens with a pleasant light pineapple like bouquet with hints of cashew and oak. On the palate, this medium bodied wine is creamy, well balanced, slightly acidic, and displays light fruit salad like flavors with hints of vanilla and toasty oak. The finish is dry and a bit brief. Enjoy – Ken

Winemaker Notes: "This Cold Creek Chardonnay shows off the power and depth that typifies the vineyard. Fruit flavors of baked apples and lemon meringue open this wine. We used a slightly higher percentage of new oak because it gives this wine nicely integrated smoke and toast flavors on the finish. The structure and acidity insure a long life for those who choose to set down their Chardonnays a few years."
