Wine Review: This wine opens with a mild maraschino cherry like bouquet. On the palate, this wine is smooth, well balanced, and has fleshy and concentrated boysenberry like flavors. The finish is dry and nicely extended. This another terrific 2005 Zinfandel. This wine would pair perfectly with beef stew and/or meatloaf. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: Pallini Ranch is a small grower family who have been farming in Mendocino for 3 generations. These vines are among the oldest vineyards planted in the state of California. The results speak for themselves. It has a fruity nose with inky color. The flavors begin with dense blackfruit, black licorice, smoke, pepper and charcoal. It is ultra rich and smooth with a mouthful that is pure velvet. This wine has the agability of 5 years.
