Wine Review: It was Friday night at the Rosecliff Mansion during the 2007 Newport Wine Festival that we discovered this Excellent wine! This wine stood out as the best wine I tried that night. This brilliantly dark ruby colored wine opens with an inviting black cherry like bouquet. On the palate, this full bodied wine is smooth as silk, very well balanced, and has concentrated and explosive black cherry flavors. The finish is very dry; it has fine tannins that last for a little while. This is a delicious wine that cellar nicely for the next few years and will also go great with a steak now. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: The STONEHEDGE "Stagecoach Vineyard" NAPA VALLEY CABERNET SAUVIGNON, 2003 RESERVE, is produced exclusively from grapes grown on the rocky hillsides of "Stagecoach Vineyard". Grown in desolate soil in high altitude, the vines struggle to produce a low yield with intense flavor concentration. The result is a wine brimming with rich flavors of cassis and black currants with subdued swirls of mocha berry and Vanilla. Bold yet elegantly smooth and well balanced, this wine is ready to be enjoyed now or reward the patient collector.
