Wine Review: I recently sat down to try a couple of wines with Edward Wallo, who with his wife Deborah founded Yorkville Cellars. Ed’s vineyards and wines are certified as organic. This ruby red Cabernet opens with a mild cranberry bouquet. On the palate, the wine is full bodied, well balanced, and dry. The flavor profile was very much like dark berries. Maybe blackberry. This wine is drinking nicely now and would match well with grilled meat. I was personally think pork tenderloin as I tasted it. The finish is quite dry and nicely extended. Enjoy – Ken

Winemaker Notes: An elegant and aromatic red, with notes of black olive, blueberry and licorice. Bright cherry fruit, with a lingering finish. Succulent but structured, this wine has longterm potential.
