Wine Review: Merlot has lost some popularity in recent years, but for those of us that really like Merlot it has allowed us to enjoy a bounty of Very Good wines like this one from Opolo. This wine opens with a nice berry bouquet. On the palate, this medium bodied wine is round and well balanced. It has a very good mouthfeel and terrific fruit flavors that explode on the palate. The finish is dry and a touch tannic, and quite lengthy. Enjoy – Ken

Winemaker Notes: A broadly shouldered Merlot with loads of concentrated plum and cherry, firm tannins and good acidity. It is a stand up and pay attention kind of wine, with real intensity and depth of flavor. Rich and concentrated, it delivers great complexity and finishes long and smooth.
