Wine Review: This wine did very well with my tasting group last year, so I was looking forward to the new vintage. The wine opened with a pleasant black cherry bouquet. On the palate, the wine is nicely round and softer than the 2003. The wine is a touch acidic and vibrant. The food match is an Italian meal with a tomato based sauce. On the finish, the wine has noteworthy persistence. Enjoy – Ken

Winemaker Notes: This estate blend of Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot has resulted in a symphony of berry and black cherry with well integrated tannin and balanced acidity. Twenty months of oak aging has given this wine notes of butterscotch and vanilla.
