Winemaker Notes: The Snowden Reserve, our finest wine, is a studied blend of our favorite lots. We want it to be the best expression possible of our vineyard in every vintage. The 2005 Reserve has a beautiful nose of blueberries and sweet fruit spiced with licorice, cinnamon, ginger and cloves. It is rich, powerful and multi-layered with velvety tannins and a smooth, long finish. The structure and character of Snowden Vineyards express themselves fully. This wine can be enjoyed now, but I am confident that it will continue to evolve and provide pleasure over the next ten years.
