Wine Review: The bouquet of this wine is a bit musty, but prevalent. On the palate, the wine is very fruity and tasty. The wine finishes slightly dry. Enjoy – Ken

Winemaker Notes: 2002 was a wonderful vintage on Long Island. The 2002 Jamesport Vineyard Merlot reflects that. Its dark ruby hues hint at the strawberry and plum aromas. On the pallet, the wine offers a myriad of impressions; including black cherry, anise, spice box and dark chocolate. This is a rich wine, with soft tannins but good structure, a full body and a long finish. The wine is still evolving, and will continue to do so for years.
